Symmetrical turnout is a type of narrow-gauge railway turnout used in Chinese coal mines, serving as basic equipment for connecting narrow-gauge railway lines.

The standardization and serialization of symmetrical turnouts are also very important for the design, construction, and production of coal mines or other mines. Coal mine narrow-gauge railway turnouts are convenient and rapid to lay, featuring strict manufacturing and acceptance standards. Their rail types, gauges, and turnout angles are serialized, making them suitable for the varied usage scenarios in China's coal mining industry.
